Jean Felice Baumann, 83, of Fort Worth passed from this life on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In addition to flowers, one can donate to the charity of their choice or the American Cancer Society. Jean was born September 15, 1933 in Dallas, Texas to the late Frank and Ruby (Nicely) Felice. She and Ludwig G. Baumann were married December 19, 1955 in Liberty, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1969. Jean graduated from Baylor University in 1956. After her husband died in Vietnam, it was her faith in God that allowed her to raise three young daughters. She became a travel agent for American Express. As a result of being a travel agent, she traveled to all seven continents with highlights being an African Safari and her trip to Antarctica. Jean was an accomplished watercolor artist and an avid gardener. She loved classical music and playing the piano. In 1983, she became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Symphony League of Fort Worth. Jean attended the University Baptist Church and was very active in her Sunday school class. Jean was very competitive. She loved playing all types of games, especially Bingo. She loved having fun and spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandson. Jean is preceded in death by one brother, Richard Felice. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Rea and husband, Perry of Everett, Washington, Debbie Wilcox and husband, Keith of Fort Worth, and Melinda Seale and husband, Kris, of Abilene, Texas; seven grandchildren, Steven and Ian Rea both of Everett, Washington, Gracie and Abby Wilcox both of Fort Worth, Amanda Farrow and husband, Clayton of Rowlett, Drew Seale and wife, Christina of Abilene, Shannon Seale of Abilene; and one great grandson, Graham Farrow of Rowlett.
