Jennifer Jean McElvany Chandler, our beloved mother, lola, daughter, sister, tita, and cherished friend departed this world far too soon on Thursday, November 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer was a brave warrior in her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Azle Baptist Church where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. A private interment for the family will take place at a later date.

Born on June 16, 1980, Jennifer was a woman of grace, kindness, and strength. She embraced everyone she met and had a positive energy that could brighten even the darkest days. She touched countless lives with her warmth and selflessness, always putting others first and making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.

As a devoted mother, Jennifer was the epitome of unconditional love. Her children were the center of her world, and she filled their lives with boundless joy, wisdom, and encouragement. She taught them to be strong, compassionate, and to find beauty in the simple things. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren as a testament to her spirit. To her family, she was not only a daughter and sister, but a best friend. The love she shared with her family is immeasurable.

Jennifer's work family was important as well. The Aaron Reeves – State Farm agency was her passion. Aaron and his wife Penny thought of Jennifer as a daughter. She helped keep their agency alive during Aaron's three-year battle of cancer. Her customers loved her.

Jennifer was very proud of her four children. She is survived by Tristan and wife, Bailey of Springtown Texas, Hunter of Azle Texas, Kaiya and husband, Gabe, from South Carolina, and Ashton Grace of Azle Texas. Affectionately known as "Lola", she treasured her three grandchildren, Cove Williams, Rosmarie Brown, Easton Chandler, and her future grandchild that will be born in January 2025; also survived by her parents, Rose and Daniel Myers of Azle Texas, Bobby and Diania McElvany of Granbury Texas; grandmother, Gloria Myers of Fort Worth Texas; brother, Shawn of Granbury Texas; sister, Tyler Nicole of Dallas, Texas. Jennifer loved her bonus brothers in her life Chris and wife, Sharon McElvany, Billy McElvany, Anson and Austin Neal; nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Bodhi, and Austyn; aunts and uncles, Marichu Bargas and Brian McInnerney, Russell and Kristy Myers, John and Marla Ane', Gee and Eve Ane', Alexis Ane', and Bernadette and Chris Bennett, Randy and Carol McElvany, Tammy and Craig Marr, and Trey and Kelly Kerr; many cousins, including her closest cousin Eric and Lauren Rubel and their sweet daughter, Lydia.

Though her time with us was far too short, her life was a testament of strength and determination. We take comfort in knowing that she has been called to be an angel, spreading her radiant light from above as she watches over us all. She will be forever close in heart and spirit.

Jennifer's family extends their heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to the medical team at Methodist Hospital, Baylor Hospital, and Texas Oncology for their exceptional care. The family is especially thankful to our friends, specifically our Granbury family, Gary Couch, Lisa and Jeff Edwards, Kerrie and Bernie Pineda, Lisa and John Grace, Mary and Richard Hattox, Claudia Southern, Tony Allen, and Mickey Parsons. Special thanks to our Azle family, Rachel and Beau Platt for their support and friendship, neighbors Marsha, Sherry and others that have prayed and sent meals for our family. A special thank you to my (Rose Myers) AbbVie work family (especially Pam Huette and Lauren Cantoni) and the countless numbers of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and staff that wrapped their arms of support and resources around our family. Most importantly, Pastor Lee and his beautiful wife and oncology nurse, Cherry and the rest of our First Baptist Azle family that visited and prayed with Jennifer and supported us throughout this entire journey.

Rest in peace, Jennifer, our sweet angel. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words. Mommy will always treasure your final 47 days and nights that we spent holding hands, talking, and taking care of you.
