Jeri was born on November 22, 1942, to Muriel and Elizabeth Reese, the oldest of 8 children. She married Kenneth Wilhite on November 13, 1970. Jeri spent many years as a homemaker while homeschooling their 3 children, Stephanie, Reese, and Ford. In recent years, Jeri enjoyed travels with Kenneth and family, spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities, serving in her home church in the prayer ministry and participating in Bible Study Fellowship.
Jeri was saved at the age of 12. In the early years of marriage, she and Kenneth began attending a local church. She grew to become a faithful and faith filled Christ follower. She loved God, His Word and was a student of God's Word. She experienced the life change and difference Jesus made in every area of her life. His life in her and love for her, motivated her to share His Story. Nothing was more important to her in the last 18 months of her life. She had eternity in sight and strived to live for Him. Without a doubt, she has heard Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant…"
Jeri was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Elizabeth Reese and brothers, Jim Reese and Jeff Reese.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wilhite of Aledo; daughter, Stephanie Watson and son-in-law, Zane Watson of Fort Worth; son, Reese Wilhite of Brock; son, Ford Wilhite, and daughter-in-law, Megan Wilhite of Aledo; 11 grandchildren and Jeri's siblings; Anson Reese, Laurie Crow, Sarah Horner, Joel Reese and Lisa Griego and their families.
