It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jerry Haner of Azle, Texas on June 16, 2023, at the age of 69 years.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 pm, Friday, June 23, 2023 at Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas.

A cocktail hour reception to follow at Nathaniel Haner's home, 4956 Exposition Way, Keller, Texas 76244.

Jerry was born in Iowa City, Iowa in 1953 to Lyle and Gladis Haner. His career consisted of wonderful years at Burlington Northern Railroad where he was the youngest foreman at age of twenty, The Hilton, Disney World, and The Fairmont. He met the love of his life and best friend, Pamela Jean Haner at a basketball game in eighth grade. They would marry in 1973. Jerry was a devoted husband and father and most recently his favorite title was Popo. Jerry was a man with many skills and could fix or figure out any problem you threw his way. Just a few of his passions were building things, his wife, his animals, taking his grandkids fishing, traveling and building bonfires to sit around the whole evening, followed by his favorite tv show in his famous recliner, Naked and Afraid.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Pamela; children, Nathaniel Haner and wife, Jessica and Noelle Lowery and husband, Davis; grandchildren, Adalia Haner, Emerson Haner, Magnolia Haner, Seneca Lowery, Scarlett Lowery, and Erie Haner; brother, Kim Haner and wife, Mary; as well as numerous relatives and the entire Estes family.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Texas Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for their care and compassion.
