Obituary

Jerry Sonnamaker, 56, of Haltom City, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northeast Texas Chapter, 3840 Hulen Street, Suite 600, Fort Worth, Texas 76107 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Jerry was a happy, outgoing child. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed grilling, attending concerts, building model cars, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Eugene Sonnamaker and sisters, Patricia Sonnamaker and Jeanene Sonnamaker. Survivors: His beloved mother, Mary Sonnamaker; brother, Michael Sonnamaker and wife, Tyrena; love of his life, Karen Brower; son, Lloyd Sonnamaker and wife, Cindy; daughter, Terran Renkenberger and husband, Andrew; son, Aaron Sonnamaker and wife, Lauren; and eight grandchildren, Kenzi, Chloe, Jacob, Blake, Maryjane, Olivia, Baylee, and Lloyd Jr. He was also loved by his nieces and nephew, as well as numerous friends.
