In Loving Memory of Jesse "JL" Coleman

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jesse "JL" Coleman, who left this world at the age of 92. Born on September 4, 1932, to Jesse and Lillian Coleman in Delhi, Oklahoma, Jesse met his wife, Juanita, while attending high school in Boyd, Texas. They married on December 21, 1951, and together they built a lifetime of memories. They made their home in Azle, Texas, where they raised their family.

Service: 11:00 am, Thursday March 6, 2025 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Interment: 1:00 pm, following the service at Boyd Cemetery.

Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.

Jesse devoted his life to the well-being of his loved ones, always putting others before himself. His home was a haven, where we were always welcomed with open arms. He was more than just a father and grandfather—he was the foundation of our family, a constant source of love, guidance, and support. His love for us was unwavering, and his presence was something we could always count on. While his absence leaves an unfillable void, we find comfort knowing that his love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to shape and guide us. We will miss him more than words can express, but his lessons, his kindness, and his spirit will remain with us always.

Jesse was preceded in death by his two beloved children, Michael Ray and Jerry Lawrence; his parents; and one sister.

Survived by his wife; their son, Jack and wife, Janet; grandkids, Tosha and Jack; great- grandkids, Hunter, Colten, Korbyn, Ryder, Dylan, and Jaiden; great-great-grandkids, Olivia and Luke.
