Jewel Dean Williams, age 89, passed away peacefully from this life on Sunday, September 29, 2024, she was 89 years old.

She was born on November 9, 1934, in Stephenville, Texas to Ed and Roberta Zimmermam.

She worked for the Federal Government for 18 years. She retired and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to bowl, dance and throw parties in her younger years. She loved being a military wife. She was very generous with her love, time and if you needed anything she was always willing to help in any way possible.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Don Harold Williams; her son, James D. Williams; daughter, Dorothy (Jo) Deatherage; grandson, Joey Deatherage; her mother, Roberta Carter; step-father, Earl Carter; father, Ed Zimmerman; step-mother, Ruth Zimmerman; brothers, Ernest Wayne (Tumpy), Elbert, and Elveridge (Snook) Zimmerman; and sisters, Betty Johnston, Judy Thomas, Caroline Adams, Louise Zimmerman-Overby.

She is survived by her two sisters, Eleanor Cary of Fort Worth, Texas and Dorothy Thomas of Merkle, Texas: daughter, Patti Sparks and husband, Richard of Saginaw, Texas; daughter, Sandy Williams of Fort Worth; and son, Donnie Williams of Fairbanks, Alaska; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many more loving friends.
