Jimmie Eugene Weaver, a devoted husband, proud veteran, accomplished aerospace professional, and passionate community historian, passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 92.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Interment: Dido Cemetery, Tarrant County, Texas.

Born to Kelley Virgil Weaver and Fannie Louise Davis Weaver, Jimmie graduated from Trimble Tech High School with the Class of 1951. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, demonstrating the same dedication and quiet strength that would define his life.

On October 11, 1955, he married Mary Ethel Davis, beginning a loving partnership that spanned six decades.

Jimmie enjoyed a long and respected career in the aerospace industry. He worked with General Dynamics and McDonnell Douglas, contributing to several major projects, including extensive work on the V-22 Osprey. He later retired from Bell Helicopter, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Equally devoted to his community, Jimmie played an instrumental role in founding the White Settlement Historical Museum where he was honored as President Emeritus. He was also an active member of the White Settlement Historical Society, preserving the stories and heritage of his hometown for future generations.

He cherished the daily tradition of gathering with fellow military veterans at Whataburger, sharing camaraderie and conversation over his favorite breakfast sandwich the B.O.B. (Breakfast on a Bun).

Jimmie was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty years, Ethel Weaver.

Jimmie is survived by his daughters, Teresa Ryan and Cindy Eatman; son-in-law, Patrick Ryan; grandchildren, Jeremy Bullard, John Eatman, Jeni Soward, Alia Ryan, and Katerina Ryan; and great-grandchildren Camryn Soward and Juliette Eatman.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him — remembered for his unwavering patriotism, sharp wit, gentle heart, and deep love for history, service, and family.
