Joe D. Frizzell, 88, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Joe was born January 22, 1927, in Abbott, Arkansas, to Rueben and Ruth Duncan. He was a longtime area resident and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a route salesman for Keebler Food Products for 20 years before his retirement in 1985. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy Frizzell; children, Margaret Broom and husband, Donnie, and Mike Frizzell and wife, Edie; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
