John Auldon Knox, 79, of Saginaw, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, July 19, 2026, comforted by the presence of his loving wife, Lina.

Inurnment: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026, West End Cemetery, 300 S. Lillian Avenue, Stephenville, Texas.

John was born January 19, 1947, in Stephenville, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to build a long, successful career in IT that included international travel. He met his wife, Lina, in Thailand, and they shared 22 beautiful years together.

He was a husband, father, and friend with a pure heart of gold, whose love for his family was like an ocean—infinite and unconditional. As a dedicated and hard-working man, he always remained humble and made sure his family was completely protected and taken care of. He brought endless joy to his family and friends with his mischievous sense of humor and love of laughter. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Nannie Knox.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lina; his daughter, Meredith Knox of Stephenville, Texas; and his very dear friend, Blake Uramoto of Honolulu, Hawaii.
