John Henry Leisher, 92, was reunited with his beloved wife, Carrie, in the presence of the Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Lake Worth Baptist Church

Interment: Following the service at Azleland Memorial Park

Visitation: 6:00–8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Biggers Funeral Home

John was born in Lake Worth on January 18, 1934. A proud graduate of Lake Worth High School, Class of 1952, he went on to marry the love of his life, Carrie, in 1958. Together they shared 62 beautiful years of marriage until her passing in 2020.

John dedicated 33 years of service to Bell Helicopter before retiring and enjoying the simple pleasures he loved most—hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. A man of deep faith, he cherished reading and studying his Bible. He was a lifelong member of Lake Worth Baptist Church, where he found joy, purpose, and community. He dearly loved his pastors and church family, and one of his greatest hopes in recent years was to regain his strength so he could return to the church he loved so much.

Above all, John was a devoted and loving father, granddad, and great granddad. His gentle spirit, steady presence, and warm smile brought joy and happiness to all who knew him. His family and friends will forever carry the memory of his kindness, humor, and unwavering faith.

John's legacy lives in the hearts of those he loved so deeply.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Leisher; parents, Jesse and Maggie Leisher;

sister, Mary Frances Leisher; and his brother, Stanley Leisher.

John is survived by one child, Vicki Eichenberger and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Jonathan Huddleston and wife, Shelby, Gina Smith and husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Ridlee and two great-granddaughters; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
