John R. Medellin passed away Sunday April 7, 2013 at his home. A celebration of Johns life will be begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday April 19, 2013 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be 3:15 p.m. Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Nellie Medellin; children, Marcus Castillo and wife Cleo Herrera, Darlene Gandara and husband Robert, Lucia Martinez and husband Thomas, and Regina Contreraz and husband Armando; son-in-law, Robert Gomez; 13 grendchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
