John Ellis Peck, age 90, born on June 9, 1933, passed from this life, to be present with his Savior on February 22 12:20 pm at Eagle Crest Villa Assisted Living in Azle Texas.

Service:  1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76135.

Committal:  10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Visitation:  6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Biggers Funeral Home.

Born in Comanche, Oklahoma, he met and married Joy Loretta Baker in 1953. He served 2 years in the Army during the Korean Conflict both in Louisiana and at Fort Sill Oklahoma. Joy followed him as he served our country from base to base. They started a family when Gary was born in 1955 at Fort Sill, then they moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Mark was born and 5 years later Barry came along.

John worked in the hydraulic industry for 45 years. He enjoyed golfing and taught all 3 boys to play so he always had a twosome.

John and Joy had numerous Friends they counted as Family, Betty & Jimmy Davis, and Don & Wanda Noah, to name just a few that are waiting for him. I'm sure somewhere in Heaven there is a game of Hand & Foot, or Chicken Foot being played.

In 1973 things began to change Gary and Jana were married and John moved his family of 4 to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to pursue a salesman opportunity. They returned to Saginaw in 1975, and in 1980 he went to work for Hydraulics Inc. where he retired in 2009. Joy had been diagnosed with cancer and after a courageous fight passed away in October of 2009.

When he had played all the golf he could stand and was bored he went back to Hydraulics to work part time in 2011.

In 2010 he met Francis Davis. They married in 2012. He gained a new larger family with 2 stepdaughters, Carol and Donnie Warner and Tina and Greg Clifton and more Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. But once again Cancer claimed Fran in 2016.

John moved to Eagle Crest Assisted Living in 2022 where he developed Alzheimer's. He had many friendships there including his neighbors and the very caring staff.

He is survived by his children, Gary and Jana, Mark and Cindy, and Barry and Tami; 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

John always loved his Family and his GOD.
