John Reginald Tipton, 66, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who never knew a stranger, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday.

Mr. Tipton was a member of U.A. Local #146, Plumbers and Steamfitters, in Fort Worth, and he was a lifetime member of AMVETS Post #133 in Mineral Wells. He enjoyed building race cars and he was a mentor to many fellow race enthusiasts.
He is survived by his wife, Ludonna R. Tipton; daughters, Robyn Molyneaux and husband, Craig, Jennifer Zanti and husband, Joe, Regina Saenz and husband, Mathew, Kelsey Lance and husband, Chad; mother, Christine Tipton; brother, Joe Tipton and wife, Rhonda; sisters-in-law, Claudella Wright and Hollis Levy; grandchildren, Ty, Christian and Abby Molyneaux, Julie, Jacquelyn and Jessica Zanti, and Mackenzie Lance; and nieces and nephews, Amanda Dent, Amy Jenkins, Caleb Tucker and Lynn Wright.
