Johnetta (Brown) Allred, 64, passed away at home in her sleep early Monday morning Feb. 23, 2026.
Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, First Baptist Church of Springtown
Interment: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28th, at Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, Texas
Visitation: 10:00 a.m., prior to service at First Baptist Church Springtown
Johnetta was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on May 12, 1961, along with her twin brother, Johnny Glen, to parents Gordon and Maxine Brown.
Johnetta had an avid love for all animals at a very young age. Mainly dogs and horses but discovered she also had a love for cats in her later years. She graduated from Euless Trinity High School in 1979 where she played first chair flute in band. She raced barrels on her beloved horse Ladd in her early 20's. Started a 40-year career with General Dynamics and ended with Lockheed-Martin in retirement in 2022. She also found her singing voice and sang with the band Alpine for many years. She had a beautiful voice and was chosen to sing at Johnny High Music Revue several times. She also earned her Bachelor of Business degree while working full-time. Johnetta was a fierce and loyal friend, with a kind and loving heart and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Johnetta was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Brown; her mother, Maxine Brown; and twin brother, Johnny Glen Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Scott Allred; sister, Helen Wallace and husband, Clarence Wallace; numerous nieces, nephews, and close cousins. She loved her family very deeply.
