Johnny Lee Thomas, 77, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m Thursday, April 14, in Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation will be form 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Johnny was born September 8, 1938, in Dallas to Roland and Dorothy Thomas. He was a lifelong area resident and was an automobile mechanic for Holiday Lincoln Mercury and later taught auto mechanics at Tarrant County Junior College. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and one brother. Johnny is survived by his wife, Maudine Speck Thomas; children, Ladine Thomas and Danny Thomas; brothers, Jerry Thomas and Gary Thomas; sister, Carolyn Langston; and grandchildren, Jake, Brooke and Liam Thomas.
