Jose Aramis Acosta, 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Mr. Acosta was born October 7, 1933 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday followed by funeral services beginning at 6 p.m. Mr. Acosta is survived by his children: Maria "Kitty" Acosta, Aramis "Porty" Acosta, Dennis Acosta, Manuel "Manuelito" Acosta; brothers and sisters: Ferdinand Acosta, Fafi Acosta, Amina "Tita" Acosta-Gawron, Efrain Acosta, Nellie Acosta, Louie Acosta, Monserrate "Marty" Acosta, Dolores "Vickie" Acosta; grandchildren: Tonya Acosta, Jonathan Acosta, Jeramis Acosta, Christian Acosta, Kristen Acosta, Cindy Acosta, Krystal Rodriguez, Manuel "Manuelito" Acosta; great-grandchildren: Amiyah Cannon, Maliyah Cannon, Jonathan Malik Cannon, and Elijah Acosta.
