Joshua "Josh" Jacob Brunkhardt, 32, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Joshua due to medical complications. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth A viewing will be held 6 to 8 Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Josh was born August 7, 1987 in Greeley, CO. He was raised in Fort Morgan, CO. His fathers Naval career took him and his family to Virginia Beach, VA where he spent most of his childhood. Josh ended up settling in North Texas with his family after being blessed with a daughter in Vermont. Five years later Josh was blessed with a second daughter. In Texas he began a career in the railroad industry first as a Maintenance of Way and EIC running track protection with RailWorks and finally as a conductor with BNSF railways. He was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan and was very interested in art, science, Marvel comics, anime, and gaming. Josh was once again blessed with three more daughters when he married Samantha Caskey of Fort Worth. They were married June 5, 2019 and shortly after moved with their five children to Joshua. Josh is survived by wife, Samantha Kay Caskey; daughters, Arwen Rose Marie Brunkhardt (8), Gwen Stacey Brunkhardt (3), Kamdyn Atley Castro (11), Braylea Alivia Caskey (7), and Mackenzy Kay Inman (3); parents, Mike and Angie Brunkhardt of Haslet; and brothers Ryan and Dustin.
