Juanita Ramona (Boone) Godby, age 94, passed from this life to be with Jesus, Monday, February 5, 2024.

Service:  2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Visitation:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at Biggers Funeral Home.

Juanita was born June 9, 1929, in Fort Worth, Texas to Hardie Crawford and Ava Ann Boone.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake Worth for over 80 years. Juanita attended Lake Worth and Northside High School.   She married Hubert Godby Sr. on December 1, 1946, after returning from World War II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert and daughter, Pam Godby Simmons.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Hubert Godby Jr. and wife, Suzanne and Jon Godby and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Gregg Simmons, Gayla Pybus, Grant Godby, Janet Weaver, Nicklaus Godby, Mindi Ritcheson, Jordan Godby and Spencer Godby along with Spouses; many great-grandchildren, 20+ and counting.
