Judith Ann Utley, 77 of Fort Worth, passed away May 12, 2019 in Lake Worth.
Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M., May 21, 2019, Biggers Funeral Home Chapel, 6100 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76135.
Judy was born February 24, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to Leon Morrison and Edna Earl Gober Morrison. She attended Polytechnic High School and later worked as a waitress and then as a bank teller. She earned her cosmetology license in 1999 and worked for several years as a hairdresser before becoming a grocery store clerk and later a manager. She married John McGee in 1960, and during their 24-year marriage, they had two children, Leon and Margie. She was later married to Robert Cleveland, then to Jerry Utley, being widowed both times. Judy poured herself into being the very best mother she could be, and she loved her children more than anything.
Judy always made everything fun. She liked to dance and listen to old country music, and she loved to sing Christmas carols. Loudly. She always remembered her loved ones' birthdays and would call her friends and family, not only on the day, but in the case of her children, at the exact time they were born, and sing "Happy Birthday" to them.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Misty Dixon.
Judy is survived by her son, Leon McGee, his wife Leslie, and their children, Jennifer Buckley, Stephanie Williams, Price Herriage-Wilson and Francie Herriage-Wilson; by her daughter Margie Bayless, her husband Terry, and their children, Charlotte Nichols and Jacob Bayless; and by her great-grandchildren, Phebe, Camdon, Mason, and Kylee. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Misty Dixon.
