Judy Andrea Faulk-Mertz, 56 passed away October 14, 2020. Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Lakeside with Dr. Jim Brewer officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the funeral home. Judy was born September 14, 1964 in Chickopee, Massachusetts to Curtis Lenwood and Martha Adell (Alldrege) Faulk. Upon relocation to Fort Worth, she graduated from Castleberry High School in 1982, and was selected as a member of Who's Who of America. She went on to have a very successful career in the mortgage industry and later, became a highly accomplished jewelry designer. Judy met Mike R. Mertz on April 11, 1998, and married on April 11, 2002. She was a loving mother to her son, Randy McShan and step-mother to Allison and Tyler Mertz. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis L. "Pop" Faulk Sr, and twin sister, Jill Audrey Faulk. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Michael Mertz; mother, Adell Faulk; sons, Randy McShan and wife, Courtney, and their children, Brynn and Tytus McShan, and Tyler Mertz; daughter, Allison Mertz; sister, Karen and John Pribble; brothers, Curtis L. Faulk II and wife, Diann; Perry Faulk, Scott Faulk; aunts, Maureen Grayson, Jessie Bell Johnson, Vernell Faulk; numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins.
