Julia Mae Smith, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
Julia was born May 15, 1939 , in Washington County, Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to Edward and Julia Lawson.
Visitation : 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 29th at Biggers Funeral Home.
Funeral : 11:00 am Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 at The Word at Lakeside.
Interment: 11:30 am Thursday, July 31, 2025, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery
She was a long time member of Lakeside Church of God – The Word at Lakeside. She retired from Coburns Catering.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Charlie Smith; her son, William Michael Smith; her daughter, Shariece Annette Smith; her granddaughter, Misty Dawn Scott; her grandson, Joshua McMorris; and her daughter in law, Debbie Smith.
Julia was survived by her son, Charles Smith; daughter, Barbara Applewhite and husband, Robert Applewhite; daughter, Karon Gann and husband, Wayne Gann; son, David Smith and wife, Debra Smith; daughter Valerie Medford and husband, David Medford; 10 grandchildren; Steven Workman, Christine Gann Spikes, Tiffany Gann Caswell, Justin Smith, Stephanie Smith, Aaron Smith, Priscilla Kardaras Griscom, Jeffrey Kardaras, Ashley McMorris Mansell, and Johnathon McMorris; 23 great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family members.
