Kathleen "Honey" Averitt, born April 16, 1949, went peacefully to sleep on Tuesday, January 12, 2026, as she awaits the return of her Savior, Yeshua.

Honey lived a life marked by generosity, tenderness, and unwavering integrity. She was a devoted daughter, mama, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother whose love stretched across generations. Her presence was a steady comfort, her wisdom gentle but deeply rooted, and her heart always open. If she had something to give, she shared it freely.

She leaves behind her mother, siblings, children, grandchildren, and many friends who carry her memory with gratitude. Each of them was shaped in some way by her kindness, her strength, and the quiet grace with which she moved through the world.

Honey's life was a testament to love lived simply and sincerely. Though she rests now, her legacy continues in every life she touched.
