Kathryn Ann (Tews) Wilson, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas Monday, December 29, 2025 at the age of 86.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin August 12, 1939 to George and Ilma (Rathke) Tews. She grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and spent cherished summers at the family cottage on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend. There, she enjoyed swimming, sailing, and boating. After graduating from Washington High School in Milwaukee, her adventurous spirit took her to Texas where she attended Texas Christian University. At TCU she met Guy Henry Wilson, who would become her beloved husband of 63 years. They married on February 28, 1959 and settled into life in Fort Worth where their first child, Brian, was born.

Eventually, they relocated to Brookfield, Wisconsin, and grew their family with two more children, Kevin and Linda. Deciding that they wanted their children to grow up with a lot of space and land, they moved to an historic farmhouse in Slinger, Wisconsin in 1967.

Kathryn was devoted to her family. A warm, kind, and thoughtful person, with a strong faith in God, she poured the very best of herself into creating a beautiful and loving home with carefree summer vacations and magical Christmases. She was an excellent baker and cook, using fresh vegetables from her garden, and could grill bratwurst with the best of them. An animal lover, she had a soft heart for all four-legged creatures and took care of many over the years. She was an avid reader, especially of mysteries and historical fiction. She loved music, particularly rock and the blues. Her favorite band was the Rolling Stones. One of her best Christmas presents ever was when Guy surprised her with tickets to see the Rolling Stones in Tampa. They had the best time.

Florida was special to Kathryn, having had wonderful memories as a child of her trips there with her parents. Because she loved Florida and with her parents living there, she and Guy moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida after their children were grown. One of her favorite things to do there was to take their boat to Caladesi Island and stay overnight. She and Guy joined her parents on several Caribbean cruises as well.

Travel was an enjoyable part of Kathryn's life. She loved beaches and being on the water. She loved New Orleans, and its music and history. In fact, her favorite song, "House of the Rising Sun," by the Animals, was set in New Orleans. She also enjoyed Barbados, St. Thomas, Key West, Las Vegas, and going to NASCAR races with her son, Brian, in Miami, Daytona Beach, and Texas. She enjoyed visiting her son, Kevin, in Minneapolis and was particularly fond of the Mall of America and the lakes around the city. She loved visiting Boston, where her daughter Linda lived, and enjoyed traveling throughout New England. Some of her favorite places there were Cape Cod, coastal Maine, including Bar Harbor, as well as Quebec City, Canada. She and Guy also took wonderful trips to Costa Rica and a train tour of Copper Canyon, Mexico.

In 2005, she and Guy moved back to Fort Worth where they enjoyed spending time with his siblings, Patsy and Charles, and with friends. Kathryn particularly enjoyed gardening, growing plants and beautiful flowers at each of her homes. A lifelong Wisconsin sports fan, she was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks. When her children were growing up she took them to countless Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks games.

Kathryn is survived by her loving children, Brian, Kevin, and Linda; brother-in-law, Charles (Jeannette) Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, who passed away in 2022; her sister, Joan McLeod; her brother, Robert (Paula) Tews; sister-in-law, Patsy Wilson; and her beloved cats, Lop and Fido.
