Kathy Sue (Fox) Strickland, age 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, May 19, 2024.

She was born October 29, 1955, in Lubbock Texas, to Herbert & Christene Fox. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Strickland on January 2, 1976, and they built an amazing life together.

Kathy grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Skyline High School, then attended East Texas State College.

Kathy worked at and retired from Lockheed Martin, but her passion in life was serving the Lord alongside her husband Bill at the many churches they pastored throughout Texas. She was a very special lady who loved every person who walked through the church doors.

She was so proud of her family; she was especially proud of her grandkids. She loved teaching them in children's church and her love and impact on all their lives will forever be cherished.

Kathy is survived by her two sons, Kyle Strickland of Weatherford, Texas and Kerry Strickland of Weatherford, Texas; grandkids, Ethan Strickland, Kyla Strickland, Wesley Strickland, Journey Strickland, Hayven Strickland and Dakota Harper; and her two brothers, Gary Fox and Mark Fox.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Strickland; her parents, Herbert and Christene Fox; and her sister, Rena Fox.
