Katie Norris Perry, 95, passed away April 10, 2019. Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 6051 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, 76135. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Interment: 1:00 P.M., Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Katie was born July 25, 1923 in Gorman, to Durward and Hattie Dunn. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Durward and Hattie Dunn; her husbands, T.J. Norris and Melvin Perry; a son, Garry Norris; grandchildren, Samuel and Rachel Hopper, and Layne Hopper. She was also preceded in death by nine brothers, and two sisters. Survivors: Katie is survived by her daughters, Maycene and Bob Hopper, Pat Norris, Jean and Harold Lampee; grandchildren, Bobby Ace Hopper Jr., Thomas Allen Hopper, Starla Hopper, Tommy and Marlene Tackett, Gary Paul Norris, Terra and Josh Richards, and numerous great-grandchildren.
