Obituary

Kenneth F. Davis, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Graveside Service with Military Honors and Masonic Graveside Rites: 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at Memory Gardens in McAlester, Oklahoma. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Gideons International, or The First Tee of Fort Worth. Kenneth was born March 30, 1936 in Indianola, Oklahoma to Julius and Josie Davis. He served in the US Air Force from 1954-1958. Kenneth married Shirley Jean Clark on October 3, 1958. They were married 54 years. He worked for the FAA for over 40 years. Kenneth was a longtime member of Richland Hills Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He enjoyed being out on the golf course, gardening, and taking care of his chickens. He also loved hunting and fishing. Kenneth was a Master Mason. He was a member of Lone Star Lodge #403 in Denison and a member of Moslah Temple Shrine. He recently was awarded a 50-year pin for his participation in the Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas and Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents, Julius and Josie; brothers, Dwight and Lynn, and sister, Sue. Survivors: His daughters, Donna Frick and husband, Steve, Cheryl Carter and husband, Ricky, Lisa Day and husband, Jeff; son, Kevin Davis and wife, Lesley. He was lovingly called "Grandad" by his grandchildren, Andrea, Chase, Ryan, Jordan, Kyle, Matthew, Travis and Katelyn, along with his great-grandchildren, Lylah, Gracie, Gaines, Leo, and Zaiah; his brothers, Raymond, Benny, Dale, and sisters, Barbara Duvall and Fleta Sorrels.
