Kenneth John Krivanek, born on October 24, 1935, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Visitation: 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76135, with a recitation of The Holy Rosary to commence at 6:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5953 Bowman Roberts Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76179.

Kenneth graduated from Mustang High School in Mustang, Oklahoma, and pursued his teaching degree from Central State College, now known as the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. He furthered his education at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. After graduation, he worked as a finishing carpenter in Oklahoma while searching for a teaching job in Industrial Arts. Kenneth found a job with Rockwall ISD, teaching shop for five years. In 1964, he began his long teaching career at Brewer High School in White Settlement ISD. Known as "Mr. K" and "Turtle" by his students, he taught wood shop, metal shop, and electricity until his retirement after 30 years. After retirement, he worked at Hawk Plumbing, Heating and Air and also at Tractor Supply in Lake Worth.

Kenneth was a member of the Army Reserve. On June 18, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Tesar) Krivanek. They had one daughter, Mary Cecilia (Krivanek) Saladin, who sadly went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2022.

Kenneth cherished his Czech music and heritage. He and his family made many trips for Polka Festivals to Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska, and attended many Czech functions in Texas.

He was a proud member of Catholic Life, KJT, SPJST, WFLA, the 4th-degree Knights of Columbus, and SPJST Lodge 92, where he held the offices of President and Treasurer.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Eva Krivanek; brothers, Kermit and Eldon Krivanek; and his daughter, Mary Cecilia Saladin.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son-in-law, Charles Saladin; sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Krivanek; niece, Christina Baker; nephew, John Krivanek; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
