Kenneth Joe New, born on August 24, 1938, in Odessa, Texas, to Cora Fay and Clarence New, peacefully departed from this world on Friday, April 19, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family.

Kenneth's life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his family and community. He served his country for 2 years of active duty in the Navy on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, followed by 2 years of inactive duty. He had a successful career with Anderson Chemical Company spending 20 plus years in Guntersville, Alabama then back home to Texas for retirement. His kindness, compassion, and love enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Anita Louise New.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joe Michael New and his spouse Sharon New; his daughter, Melissa Gwen Cone and her spouse, Steve Cone. Kenneth was a cherished granddad to nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Kenneth Joe New will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, his laughter, and the immeasurable kindness he shared with the world. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Anita, knowing that his legacy of love will live on through the generations.
