Kent Lee Sanderson, 72 of Lake Worth Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Celebration of his life: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, Lake Worth Multi Purpose Facility, 7005 Charbonneau, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Kent was born July 30, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Betty and Norman Sanderson and graduated from Rochester Hills High School, Michigan in 1972.

Не joined the US Army in 1976 and served until 1979 when he was honorably discharged. He attended Ferris State University and received a Bachelor's degree in heating and cooling. Upon graduation, he located in Texas where he met and married the love of his life Suzi. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage. Together they raised two daughters, Heather and Myra.

Kent had a love of fishing and hunting that he shared with family and friends. Kent was passionate about maintaining and improving every home he lived in. He will be missed and remembered by his Michigan, Ohio, and Texas family and friends.

Kent is survived by his wife, Suzi; his daughters, Heather (Tom) Dearborn and Myra Simone; his brothers, Perry (Betty) Sanderson and Todd Sanderson; he will also be missed by 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in laws.
