Fort Worth - Lafrances Joy Pearce, 90, passed from this life, September 26, 2020. Joy was born November 17, 1929 in Tin Top, Texas to Alva Julian and Martha Estelle Springfield Smith. Her family was very important to her. She had many friends from Mineola and from the Rebecca Lodge. Joy was faithful and loved her church family from Rosen Heights Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Mineola. She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Alva J. Smith and Martha Smith. Her Husband: Joe Pearce. Her son: Robert Paul Johnson. Her Sister: Alva Jean Zeigler. Joy is survived by: Daughter, Pam Idell and husband George; Sons, Raymond Johnson and David Johnson; Grandsons, Gary Idell, Michael Idell and wife Kim; Great Grandsons, Sean and Blake Idell; Great Granddaughter, Skylar Idell; Great Great Grandsons, Holden and Waylon Idell.
