Lamora Joyce Mitchell, 95, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: 1 p.m. in Tolar Cemetery. Lamora Joyce Mitchell was born December 14, 1924 in Lipan to the late Lester and Verna Pope Moore. She lived for many years in California. Lamora was very involved in church and was a bible study teacher. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Lamora was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, I.D. Mitchell; and her parents. Survivors: Daughters, Sheria Martin and husband, John and Gail Nelsen and husband, Gary; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Rawson.
