Laura Jane Gross, 53, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, in Fort Worth. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Greater Fort Worth Special Olympics, 6707 Brentwood Stair Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76112. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Sue Schertz; sisters, Mary Ann Gross and Diana Dorrough; brother, Billy Ray Augustine; uncles, Terry, Alan and Gene Gross; aunts, Virginia Taliaferro, Vida Jefferies, Dorothy Lutz and Agatha Riddles; one niece; two nephews; a number of cousins; and her special friend and Special Olympics coach, Debra Sloan.
