Laura Jeanne Rexroat-Sink, 55, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, music, and devotion to family and community.

Service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Ash Creek Baptist Church.

Interment: following service, Gordon Cemetery, Gordon, Texas

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2026, Biggers Funeral Home.

Born in Stephenville, Texas, Laura was the daughter of Larry Paul Rexroat and Kathy Jewellyn Rexroat, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Robin Rexroat and Rebecca Rexroat-Miller.

Laura was a deeply devoted Christian woman whose faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life. Her relationship with Christ guided her in all things and was reflected in the way she loved, served, and cared for others. She lived in her faith daily—not only in words, but through quiet acts of kindness, compassion, and unwavering grace. Laura was a faithful member of Ash Creek Baptist Church, where she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving alongside her church family.

A gifted musician, Laura was an accomplished pianist and talented singer. She graduated from Richland High School and proceeded on to Texas Christian University on a Norton music scholarship, a reflection of both her dedication and God-given talent. She spent many years as a teacher in numerous school districts, touching countless lives and forming lasting bonds with her students. After retiring, she continued sharing her love of music by teaching piano and voice lessons from her home, pouring encouragement and care into each student she taught.

Above all, Laura's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Earl Sink Sr.; her children, Jennifer Beale and her husband, Steven Beale, Andrew Sink and his wife, Arissa Sink, Gary Sink, Jennifer Sink, Joshua Hayden and his wife, Gabi Hayden. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shaylee, Levi, Mackie, Calen, Atlas, Astraea, Zackery, Olivia, and Stella, each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her nephew, Joshua Miller and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Laura also shared a special and deeply affectionate bond with her beloved cats—Melody, Bella, Elizabeth, and Daisy. They were far more than pets to her; they were her babies. She cared for them with the same tenderness, attention, and devotion she gave to her family, and they brought her constant comfort, companionship, and joy. She was delighted in them daily, and anyone who knew Laura knew just how much she adored her girls.

She will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and loving soul whose laughter and smile could light up any room. Laura's life was a reflection of her faith, and her love for others was a testament to the grace she carried within her. She was truly beautiful, both inside and out.

Though her passing leaves a profound void, her faith gives comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior, reunited with her mother, father, and sisters-loved ones she missed deeply and carried in her heart always. The love she shared and the life she lived will continue to inspire all who knew her.
