L.C. "Bud" Harris, 86, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at his home. Service: 10 a.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Howard Cemetery in Benbrook. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Harris was born in Fort Worth and had worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years before retiring. He had lived in Stephenville for 27 years. "Bud" was preceded in death by his wives, Cindy, Carol and Peggy; sisters, Betty Davis and Daisy Mae Harris; and brother, Vernon Harris. He is survived by: His sister, Wanda Noah and husband, Don; brothers, Charlie Burrows and wife, Margaret, Robert Burrows and wife, "Skeeter," all of Fort Worth; and a number of nieces and nephews.
