Obituary

Lee Burton Corbin, 79, peacefully went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Biggers Funeral Home. Lee was born and raised in Howard, Kansas, and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Texas, where he met Martha Corbin, his wife of 57 years, and raised four boys. He was active in his sons lives as a Little League baseball coach at Sabine Jarvis, and he attended their numerous other sporting events. He enjoyed playing his guitar, leatherwork, writing songs, flea markets, fixing electronic devices, and spending time with his family. He loved to laugh and enjoyed sports - especially baseball. He was a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 116 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Saginaw. He was generous with those he loved and helped many friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Corbin, and his grandson, Lee Burtton Corbin III. He is survived by his wife, Martha Corbin; sons, Burt Corbin and wife, Cindy, Rick Corbin and wife, Kelly, Roger Corbin and wife, Jennifer, and Kenny Corbin; grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Robert, Ricky, Autumn, Jaden and Emily; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
