Obituary

Leonard Peter Krzykowski, age 88, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, surrounded by love and family.

Mass of The Resurrection: 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2025 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to commence at 10:00 a.m.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 21, 1936, Leonard was the cherished son of the late Leonard and Jean (Chojnacki) Krzykowski.

With a keen mind and a compassionate heart, Leonard earned his bachelor's degree in finance and built a life grounded in devotion—to both his profession and his beloved family. He married the love of his life, Linda (Tischler) Krzykowski, and together they had a blended family of 8 children, crafting a legacy rich with warmth, connection, and generosity.

A seasoned traveler and gentle soul, Leonard explored the world with curiosity and gratitude but always found his true joy at home. His hugs were legendary—full of sincerity and comfort—and he had a gift for making everyone feel truly seen and valued. Leonard's kindness was quiet but profound, felt not through grand gestures but through everyday grace.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Krzykowski; sister, Virginia Matel; and grandchildren, Britt Harmon and Nicholas Harmon.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda; children, Lynn Ash, Steve and Kelly Krzykowski, Lori and Doug Crook, Karen and Grant Bethard, Lara and Gary Broughton, Ann Krzykowski, Lenna Freiheit and Al DuBois, and Peter and Quinn Krzykowski; 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Ken and Rose Krzykowski, Al and Barbara Krzykowski, Jim and Joan Krzykowski, and sister, Patricia Schlighting, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whose lives he touched.

Leonard's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered—through the stories told, the laughter shared, and the love that continues to ripple through generations.
