Lester A. Cook, Jr., 72, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cook, on July 23, 2012. Survivors include his children, Betty Jordan of Fort Worth, Amanda Berdine and husband Keith of Alvarado, and Tommy Cook of Fort Worth; sisters, Frances Chudej of Saginaw and Diane Higgins of Haltom City; 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
