Linda was born in Marianna, Arkansas on March 1, 1946, to James and Lois Oglesby. Her childhood was mainly spent in Weatherford, Texas where she made many lifelong friends. On November 29, 1963 she married the love of her life, David Wallace Emmons. They had 3 beloved children. Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling with her sisters, playing bingo and reading. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. The greatest names she carried were Mom and Nana. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, David Emmons; father, James Oglesby; mother, Lois Oglesby; sister, Pat Loftis; brother, Don Oglesby and her long-time best friend, Shirley Jackson.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kim and husband, Bryan of Fort Worth; son, David of Lake Worth; son, Chris and wife, Christi of Van Alstyne; seven grandchildren, Lori, Amanda, Chris Michael, Brandon, Ashlynd, Aubrey and Adalyn; eleven great-grandchildren, Reagan, Ethan, Kyleigh, Mckenzie, Kamryn, Aiden, Kyler, Gentry, Beckett, Kason and Baby Burcie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
