Linda was born February 9, 1947 in Fairplay, Colorado to Harold and June Tubbs. She attended New Mexico State University and received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado.

Linda was commissioned as an officer in the United States Airforce in 1970 and was honorably discharged with rank of Major Linda Voss, USAF. She met the love of her life in 1971, Carl E. Voss, Jr. while they were both Airforce officers stationed in San Antonio, Texas and later were married in 1973 in Fairplay, Colorado.

She later became the Beloved Azle Children's Librarian for over 20 years where she touched the lives of several generations of Azles community, sharing her love for reading and enriching the wonders of childhood.

Linda was a Beloved NANA to her 5 grandchildren who were the center of her world, Joshua Wiedeman, Adrianna Wiedeman, Alaina Ledbetter, Jackson Ledbetter all of Azle, Texas and Hanna Voss of Norristown, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her husband, Major Carl E. Voss, Jr. USAF RET; brother, Gary Tubbs and wife, Carol of Clarksdale, Arizona; daughter, Amy Ledbetter and son-in-law, Joby of Azle, Texas; son, Keith Voss of Norristown, Pennsylvania and her 5 grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and June Tubbs of Fairplay, Colorado, and her granddaughters, Ava Grace and Avery Dovie Ledbetter of Azle, Texas.
