Lloyd Edward Johnson, a World War II Navy veteran, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at the age of 89. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Saginaw. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Saginaw. Interment will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Emmered Johnson, the mother of his children, Ardis Johnson, his sister, Leona Williams, his brother, Clarence Johnson, and his grandson, Jason Brown. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marian Johnson; son, Neil Johnson and wife, Idie; daughters, Laurel Larson and husband, Dick, and Jill Sexton and husband, Mike; grandson, Paul Brown and wife, Marci; granddaughter, Christine Schnipkoweit and husband, Nick; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Keaton, and Charli; 5 stepchildren and their spouses; 8 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
