Lloyd G. Lanford, 72, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2014, at his home. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. He was born June 22, 1942, in Fort Worth. He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart Commendation Medal. He had been married to Patricia Roof Lanford for 21 years. Mr. Lanford was preceded in death by his father, Billy F. Lanford. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; mother, Edylene Lanford; stepchildren, Joshua Waldrop and wife, Sherri, Jeremy Waldrop and wife, Kim, and Jamie Sharp and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Danielle Fullerton, Toni, Shirley and Kalynn Waldrop and Shilo Sharp; and a large extended family.
