Lois was born August 20, 1958 in Fort Worth, to Col Nicholas C. Nicholas and Jane Vick Nicholas, and stepdaughter to Linda Nicholas.
She served as an ER nurse for over 30 years. She loved her two Arabian horses, and her many dogs.
Mostly, she loved helping people. Her talents included cross stitch, painting, drawing, gardening, sewing, reading, and a deep love of the Holy Bible. Her happiest times were riding her Arabians, and playing with her adored dogs, Macie, Seven, or Frankie.
She especially enjoyed visiting her Uncle George and Aunt Elizabeth in the beautiful West Virginia hills.
Lois is survived by her parents; her sister, Carolyn Nicholas of Wichita Falls; stepsisters, Deborah Zachary of Plantation, Florida, Jana and Carl DeNunzio of Parkland, Florida; and stepbrother, Tony Estep of Virginia; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
