Lonnie Paul Gooding Sr. died Saturday, July 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will be in Azleland Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ. Lonnie loved his family and shared his family values with all who knew him. Lonnie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annetta Gooding; son, Lonnie Gooding Jr.; daughter, Wendy Bradshaw; son, Kevin Gooding; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
