Lt. Colonel Andrew Bryan Crawford

September 29, 1941- October 11, 2025

Andrew Crawford was a man that led a dedicated life of service to God, country, community, and family.

Andrew was born September 29,1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Marion Fredrick Crawford and Eva Marie Leddy. He graduated from North Texas State University with a B.S. in Industrial Arts in June 1965. While in college he met the love of his life, Marilove Goins and they married on May 8, 1965. They had three children.

Andrew joined the U.S. Air Force in August 1965. He served his country as an Active Duty Officer, Air National Guard Officer, and Air Force Servant General Manager for the next 36 years. One of his proudest achievements was flying the Air Force F-4 Phantom II jet fighter for twenty years as a Weapons System and Electronic Warfare officer. He was a highly decorated officer earning numerous awards throughout his career. While on active duty he was stationed in several countries including, Japan, South Korea, Germany and had temporary assignments in various countries all around the world.

He worked at the pentagon for 25 years as an Air Force civilian and was in the pentagon during the attack on September 11, 2001. After he retired in 2002, he and his wife returned to Fort Worth. He stayed true to his servant heart and spent most of his time volunteering. He served as captain of the Lake Country Citizens on Patrol unit with the Fort Worth Police Department, and as the Facilities Care Coordinator at his church, Lighthouse Fellowship.

He also thoroughly enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. Andrew joined his wife, Marilove in heaven on October 11, 2025. Andrew will always be remembered for his servant's heart and for love shown not just in words but actions.

He is survived by his children, Teresa, Bryan, Melissa and her husband, Jake; his beloved grandchildren, Andrew (AJ), Hannah, and her husband, Austin, Piper, and Julia; and his brothers, Fred and Kenneth Crawford.
