Lynda Marie (Weaver) Garrett, age 74, of Fort Worth, passed away peacefully in her home, July 7, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2021 at Biggers Funeral Home. Lynda was born on February 5, 1947 in Fort Worth to James E. and Sadie Weaver. She was a graduate of Northside High School, and married the love of her life, and best friend, Jimmy Garrett on February 5, 1970. Lynda loved to sew, play dominoes and cards with her family in her younger years. She was always devoted to her family. They were the most important thing to her and loved them with all her heart. Lynda had two granddaughters, Kayla and Lauren, who were her pride and joy. Anyone that spent any time with her, knew those girls were her world. Lynda was kind, selfless, had a gentle soul and lived for helping others. She had a contagious laugh that we will miss forever. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Garrett; her brother, Tommy Weaver; a sister, Katherine Ann Weaver, and her parents, James E. and Sadie Weaver. Survivors: Lynda is survived by her two daughters, Shona Widman and her husband, Jason of Fort Worth; Charon Cagle and her husband, Darren of Fort Worth; two granddaughters, Kayla Widman and Lauren Cagle both of Fort Worth; brothers, James C. Weaver of Hurst, and Billy Weaver of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
