Marcella Ellis Rolen passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was 95 years of age. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas 75219. Mrs. Rolen was born December 22, 1917, in Osawatomie, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gary Rolen, in 1996; her sons, Gary Rolen in 1964 and Ronald William Rolen in 2008; and two grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the staff and aides at Azle Manor Nursing Home for all the love and care they have showed Mom and us during her stay. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Turner and husband, Joe, of Azle and Beth Scheppers of Yucaipa, California; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
