Margaret L. Burnett, 86, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Margaret was born January 18, 1929, in Upshur County to Clinton and Lela Seals. She was a longtime area resident and a member of Las Vegas Trail Church of Christ. She retired in 1990 after 18 years of teaching seventh and eighth grades at Monnig Middle School. She is survived by her: Children, Michael L. Burnett and wife, Brenda, and Helen J. Gaines; grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah and Mark Burnett.
