Margie Grace Garner, 81, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022. Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel Margie was born July 10, 1940 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Willard and Lela Garner. She was a keypunch operator and keypunch teacher in her younger years. Margie was a caregiver to the elderly and also delivered meals on wheels. She loved God, her family, and friends. Margie was a member of First Baptist Church Watauga. She always had a smile on her face and was a friend and mentor to many. Margie will be greatly missed and always loved by all who knew her. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Garner, Charles Garner, Travis Garner; and sister, Ivanell Garner. Survivors: Sons, Stephen Eaton and wife, Barbra and Robert Barnes and wife, Cici; daughter, Susan Cross and husband, Michael; sister, Linda Betts and husband, David; brother, Phillip Garner; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
