Maria Diaz, 76, of Fort Worth TX passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday March 17, 2024.

Maria was born April 30, 1947, to Petra Manzano and Joaquin Saenz of Juarez, Mexico. She was one of 5 children and enjoyed having a very close relationship with her siblings.

Maria enjoyed watching baseball and was a huge Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan, she enjoyed every opportunity to visit Disney World. She had a profound love for the beach and enjoyed just sitting and watching the waves coming in.

Her true passion was for her grandchildren rather it be going shopping or playing catch or going to watch their school programs. She was "mom" or "grandma" to so many people who ever met her and witnessed such a kind heart.

She is survived by her spouse, Pedro Diaz; daughters, Laura Davis and William Davis; Sandra Barron and Rene Diaz; grandchildren; Krystal and Konner Burgess, Ryan Davis, Elizabeth Barron and Tiffany Davis. Nieces; Patricia Chacon, Veronica Guerrero; nephew; Hector Saenz.
